Limeng Stroh

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Limeng founded Full Circle Wine Solutions, Inc. in Fall 2007, as a global wine and spirits education firm to deliver tailored onsite seminars and engaging online content.

Previously, Limeng was the Senior Director of Marketing at Beam Wine Estates where she managed the company's core brands including Clos du Bois, Geyser Peak and Wild Horse Winery. During her tenure, the Sonoma County-based Clos du Bois brand grew from 1.5 million cases to surpass the 2-million case mark.

Her professional background includes a position as the MBA summer intern at Pepsi-Cola North America's Strategic Planning division. Previously, Limeng spent three years in a rotational management achievement program at Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery where she held sales, marketing, operations and business development positions. As a native of Singapore, Limeng is particularly excited about the opportunity to build a global business in Asia through wine education and hospitality programs.

In 2003 Limeng graduated from Harvard Business School with a Masters in Business Administration. She also graduated with Honors from Duke University in three years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

In addition, Evan continues to train and examine candidates for the Court of Master Sommeliers as a Founding Board member.

Evan is the author of Five Star Service: Your Guide to Hospitality Excellence (On Premise Communications Inc. publishers) and the critically acclaimed books, Perfect Pairings: A Master Sommelier's Practical Advice for Partnering Wine with Food and its sequel, Daring Pairings: A Master Sommelier Matches Distinctive Wines with Recipes from His Favorite Chefs, both published by the University of California Press. Doug Frost, MS & MW
Chief Engagement Officer

Doug Frost is a Kansas City author who writes and lectures about wine, beer and spirits. In 1991 he passed the rigorous Master Sommelier examination and two years later became America's eighth Master of Wine. He was the second person in history to complete both exams and eighteen years later he is still one of only three people in the world to have achieved both these remarkable distinctions. The Wine Spectator has also bestowed the accolade of Master of Spirits on Mr. Frost, and he is one of the founders of BAR (Beverage Alcohol Resource), considered by most industry professionals to be the preeminent education and examining body for the spirits and cocktail industry. He continues to teach and examine for BAR and within the Master Sommelier and Master of Wine programs.

Mr. Frost's love of wine began in the late 1970's as a waiter and wine steward, although he dates his first interest to a glass of Louis Martini 1968 Special Select Pinot Noir when he was fifteen years old. Frost was a fine wine wholesaler in the Kansas City area for fourteen years and, in that capacity, represented most of the best wineries and estates from America and the world.

His first book, Uncorking Wine, was released in the summer of 1996, and is still a staple for many restaurant and retail companies and their staff and management. Frost's next book, On Wine, published by Rizzoli International, was released in the fall of 2001. The Washington Post calls it "fabulous, witty, engaging and wise ... conveys more accumulated wine wisdom than most books 10 times as thick." Frost's most recent book, Far From Ordinary: The Spanish Wine Guide, was released in October 2005; the third edition is due out in late 2011.

Frost is a contributor to the Oxford Companion of Wine, Opus Vino, The World Atlas of Wine by Hugh Johnson and The Wine Report, an annual report edited by Tom Stevenson. He writes about wine and spirits for many publications including the San Francisco Chronicle, the Underground Wine Journal, Drinks International, Practical Winery & Vineyard, Wines & Vines, Wines & Spirits, Cheers Magazine, Sante Magazine, and Epicurious.com and is the beverage columnist for the James Beard award-winning food section of the Kansas City Star, as well as Hemispheres Magazine, Missouri Life and Fine Cooking.

Frost is the host of Check Please!, an Emmy Award nominated weekly public TV show filmed in Kansas City. He also appears as a featured judge on Public Television's The Winemakers, PBS's first nationally broadcast reality show. Mr. Frost is also the wine and spirits consultant for both United Airlines and Continental Airlines worldwide, helping to select tens of thousands of cases of wines and spirits each year for service aboard the world's most important worldwide carrier. He is the founder and director of the Jefferson Cup Invitational Wine Competition, a eleven-year-old national competition, and is Head Judge and founder of the Mid-American Wine Competition, in its fourth year. He has served for many years on the board of the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas, and is the current Vice Chairman. He also serves on the board of the Institute of Masters of Wine North America.

Frost joined Full Circle Wine Solutions, Inc. as Chief Engagement Officer in 2012.

Paula Mantle
Event Manager

Paula graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 with a major in Speech Communication and a minor in Marketing after attending California State University, East Bay, for four years. After graduation, Paula followed her passion and sought a job that would teach her the basics of wine in a hands-on environment.

That search took her to Wente Family Vineyards in Livermore where she worked in the tasting rooms of both Tamas Estates and Wente's boutique winery, Murrieta's Well. During her time with Wente, Paula visited all the major wine regions in California getting a well-rounded picture, tasting room by tasting room, of what her native state had to offer.

When Wine Affairs, a high-end wine bar opened a block from her house, Paula seized the opportunity to work with sommeliers and a fifty-plus wine-by-the-glass list. With a wine list that included a multitude of of international selections, previously overwhelming to her California-centric palate, Paula got a real education in wine. While Paula started as a bartender at Wine Affairs, her role quickly grew to that of floor supervisor.

Paula joined Full Circle Wine Solutions in January 2009 and is excited that at Full Circle Wine Solutions, she is able to marry her love of wine with that of her educational background in Communication and Marketing.

Our Team is also augmented by a robust Full Circle Sommelier Network.
