  1. I haven’t heard of that Greek wine before, but will try a bottle this weekend. If all sommeliers are as cute as Caterina, I’d probably have a big drinking problem!!

  2. I recntly visited the District Wine Bar for the first time, and I learned more about wine from Caterina in just 30 minutes than I have from any wine course I’ve ever attended. She is so passionate about wine and food, you can’t help but have it rub off on you when you’re in her company. District is first-rate…and the staff is friendly and helpful, too!

  3. First, great interview…will definitely check out the wine recommendations provided. Also, Caterina couldn’t have been more dead on when she provided her own definition of a sommelier — someone that treats you like a friend…makes you feel comfortable about asking all types of questions (without feeling intimidated)…and truly enjoys the process of helping you find the best wine for your mood, food, or whatever. Looking forward to more interviews like this one…! Bravo to Caterina…

  4. I have been a frequent customer at District since it opened last year. During that time I have been able to talk to Caterina on many occasions. She has this passion to her when she talks about wine. She always has something new to try and usually from wineries that I have never heard of. I am glad to see she had the opportunity for this interview so she can share her passion and knowledge to those people who are not lucky enough to see her at District. I would love to see more interviews with her in the future.
